Spending

I have been spending a lot lately on food and clothes. Especially clothes. Haiz. I am not even earning income yet but already buying many things. Worst of all is my dad and sisters money. Not my own. Their hard earned cash. I do have money just that is all kept in the bank and earning interest till..... I should repay them back. I owe them a lot.

Sometimes I wish I own a credit card. At the same time and I am happy I do not have. I am not contradicting myself but owning a card would make me spend. This is bad. I have to control myself. On many occassions, people swipe their credit card on many petty items. By right, I believe it should be used for emergency purposes. Also, I should make it point to allocate a certain amount for savings and start budgeting.

I consider myself prudent and thrifty. Though I do spend but I try to tell myself sometimes it is unneccesary or I need to get my parents or sisters consent before I purchase any goods.

Weight

After Aussie
Before Aussie

Hmm..Before I left Malaysia I was slim and just nice but now I believe I have put on weight on my thighs and hands. My hands are flabby. Haiz. I know I put on weight when I went there. When I was in Perth it was winter. The cold gets you hungry easily so I ate more than what I normally had back home.

I won't say I am regretting or complaining that i've gained weight. Its good to put on some extra kilos but not too much. Most people say I look better now. Not to say I was skinny or aneroksia but somehow I feel happier that now I can't fit into some clothes that I couldn't wear before. I would say I am just the right weight. Neither underweight nor overweight. Being underweight one looks sickly and frail. Being overweight, might lead to health complications.

I better control my diet. Since I came back I have been invited for lots of dinners. Also, eating lots of home cooked food and with the festivities around the corner when I came back I just cannot help it but to enjoy. I MUST CONTROL but what to do when food is good and appetising. eat. I think I live to eat. hehe

Happy New Year

I can't believe its the new year again. Time really flies. Soon, I would have to face reality. Now is 2009. And this year I am turning 21. Getting older. No more a teenager. An adult. Face the truth. How I wish the clock turns back. It is only a delusion.

As a new year begins, people talk about making resolutions. hmm......I wonder what are my resolutions. And if I make it would I be following, would it be just a waste of time or is it going to be the yardstick.

Anyway my resolutions are

a) Be responsible

b)Learn how to cook (must really force myself ) sigh.Love to eat but if one ask me to prepare I can't. I must set my mind

c)Don't ever say the word 'LAZY'

Last but not least wishing everyone out there or all those who read my blog a Happy New Year

Festive Season

Once again it is the time of the year where joy, fun and Christmas spirit is in the air. I always enjoy this month of the year as families and friends are closely knit. This is the time to be in a joyous and happy mood. All shopping malls are thronged by shoppers and you can see a smile on peoples faces as they leave the mall.
During this festive season families and friends gather together to enjoy the Christmas spirit in the air. Also, this particular month the weather is cool and breezy. The temperature is just nice with an occasional gush of wind.
This is always the best time to indulge in food and any activity. But of course you have to pay the price. Enjoy to the fullest and do not regret. When new year arrives, then repent for forgiveness and make your new year resolution. Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year To Everyone.

I can't wait for everything to end

This whole week has been a busy week. I can't wait for presentations to come to an end and also finish all assignments. Right now, all students are busy preparing for various things such as exams, completing assignments and working on presentations. As, we are half way through university our time must be used appropriately. As the saying goes time is precious. Time does not wait for no men.
On another note, I really can't wait for the next tuition free week. A time for us to rest our mind off studying. However, I hope that during that whole week I would at least do something fruitful. Since, once our university starts we would be in full swing as, finals would be approaching.
Also, I am starting to think of the summer holidays. Really can't wait for that as I get to go back to Malaysia really soon. I am so excited and soon I have to plan on what to eat and what I should do during my holidays in Malaysia. I am now over the moon. Thinking about the food back in Malaysia makes me feel hungry I also longing and craving for the good food. It is always said Penang has really good Hawker food.
Anyway now you knows my joys on why I can't wait to get back to Malaysia and also for holidays to come. Of course, before I can enjoy I must really study hard and study smart.hehehe

My Life In Perth

Since I came here, I have been enjoying myself. Mostly because of friends. Like what people have told me, when you go overseas get to know friends and many have always said University life is the best. Thinking about it, I agree. So far it has been great over here.
I have gone out for outings with various people such as Yin-Fei, Muneera, Amanda, the members in cell group and been catching up with lots of other people during lunch breaks. University life is an experience. One has to definitely go through and make the most out of it. Also, I have been keeping myself busy here by joining activities that I love. This is fruitful for me.
It is sad to say, the first few weeks I was here my friend got me addicted to shopping. When, there is a discount, one can get it at a bargain. Isn't it great. My favourite shops here are 'Supre' and 'Valley Girl'. I have been trying to budget as things are expensive. I always try to remind myself that so I won't spend unnecessarily on items that I don't need. From now on till I come back I should write a budget list to keep track on what I have been spending money on. Another thing, since I came here I have been eating and snacking a lot. This is bad. I must put a stop to this.
This is natural from what I have heard to put on weight when going overseas. But now since winter is over I must limit myself on food. And weigh myself before I get back to Malaysia.Thats for all now.
