Europe Trip

I went to Europe for a wonderful trip. This trip was plan by my mother and she was looking forward to it. Anyway, we fulfilled her wish by going on this long awaited trip. We went around Europe. We visited countries like Germany, Italy, Switzerland and France. On the tour we met other people from around the world. The majority were Australians. However, there were also Canadians, Americans, South Africans, Filipinos and us Malaysians.

The country that I like the most was Germany and Switzerland because of its undulating hills and picturesque view. Also lakes there are clean and have fresh water from the mountains. However, for those who appreciate arts and sculptures Italy is the place to be. The place we visited like Vatican, Coliseum, Louvre and Versailles are rich in history and the buildings left behind are impressive and magnificent. As it can be seen the Roman Empire was powerful and the people living at that time were barbarians. I saw the Mona Lisa painting by Leornado Da Vince(heard that someone stole it and the painting was found in Florence).

In Switzerland, we were taken to a typical Swiss Village. There it was a great experience away from the hustle bustle of the city. We were taken on a horse drawn carriage. I enjoyed myself being at the country side because it was laid back, relaxing and serene plus the air was fresh. It was an unforgettable experience seeing the community closely knit. It was a lovely day.

After the tour, we stayed 2 more nights in London. We watched the musical Mamma Mia(a must see musical). It was recommended to us by a few people. Anyway the story is simple and easy to understand with all the ABBA music fitted into the scenes. The props, lighting, ensemble and cast were fantastic. The musical cannot be missed. I won't be a spoiler, so rate it yourself when the movie shows in the theatre. If one can catch it live I recommend. The dancing is cheoreographed so nicely. It was really entertaining.
